A turning point in my life

Many people have met a turning point in their life that changed their life path. Maybe it happened at an unexpected moment.

In January 2016, I met veteran journalist Mr. Jagath Gamini Mawathagama. It was actually a chance encounter In that meeting, he very humbly invited me to sing a children's song written by him. Later, the first song sung by me was created with the music combination of veteran singer Mr. Jagath Wickramasinghe.

Not stopping there, according to Mr. Jagath's advice, my first song was sent to the State Music Awards. On June 23, 2016, I received the award for the best children's song of the year, making that day the best day of my life. That victory became a jewel in my life.

My parents, my music teacher and many others gave me a lot of strength to achieve this achievement.
